At ACC you can take online courses toward earning your associate degree. Online learning is an affordable way to receive a world-class education while maintaining your personal and professional responsibilities. There are more than 200 online courses available at ACC. As long as you are connected to the Internet, you can advance your education with accredited degree programs.
Why Online Courses?
Online courses provide a way for you to attend class at your convenience, rather than coming to campus at an assigned hour. ACC understands that students who opt for online classes deserve no less attention or support in their efforts to get an education than students who choose to attend traditional on-campus classes. Most courses require participation in online discussions, so you can still get to know your classmates and foster community and collaboration.
We want our students to be successful, and we are here to help make that happen. Instructors are available by email to answer your questions and discuss assignments. Additionally, online students have access to 24-hour technical support and an online self-help solution center.
Take an Online Class with ACC
ACC online classes are taught by ACC Instructors. ACC instructors and professors take the time to get to know each online student and understand how each individual learns. In order to ensure you get the full experience from online education, our instructors lead online courses using many of the same teaching tools that are used in the classroom.
Benefits of taking online classes with ACC:
- ACC instructors are available to help you on campus through office hours or tutoring.
- ACC Online sections are managed by ACC Departments that can help you with specific issues with your class.
- ACC provides on-campus Academic Support (tutoring, math lab, and writing center, etc.) for online students.
Take a Class with CCCOnline
Colorado Community College Online offers you another learning option for complementing your coursework. By offering courses through CCCOnline, you are able to take courses and programs that ACC may not be able to offer. A CCCOnline Class will be taught by an instructor that teaches at one of the 13 colleges in the Colorado Community College System. CCCOnline Instructors are only available through email.
* Colorado Community College Online is a part of the Colorado Community College System of Colleges. CCCOnline is not a college in and of itself. It is an extension of and a service to ACC.
