Art Galleries
The art galleries at Arapahoe Community College showcase juried work by ACC students and faculty as well as community members. Our Galleries have gone virtual! Take a stroll through our online exhibits. You'll find individual and collaborative artworks that represent the craftsmanship and artistic expression of students in ACC Art & Design programs, as well as creative concepts from members of the community. We invite you to frequent our exhibitions and to enter submissions for juried exhibitions.
"COVID-19 cannot stop artists from creating art, nor will it keep us from showing it. The art world has been using virtual galleries for a long time. They have just become more popular during COVID-19. With a little creativity and ingenuity, we now have a platform to continue showcasing the talents of our art students and artists in our communities.”
- Trish Sangelo, Director of the Colorado Gallery of the Arts at ACC

Community Exhibitions
Exciting exhibitions of ACC student art are featured at the Parker and Littleton Adventist Hospitals, thanks to a collaboration of the ACC Art Department and the Healing Arts program at the hospitals. The program provides patients and their families, as well as staff members and the community, with a calm environment featuring local artists and musicians. Extended exhibitions of student art are also held at the Denver Community Credit Union’s Mineral Branch, 101 W. Mineral Avenue, Littleton.
Milestone Project
The Diversity & Inclusive Milestones Project was founded by the late Dr. Richard Steckel and his wife Michele. Inspired by tragic news stories in 1998, the Colorado couple started traveling the globe to photograph children as they recognized various milestones, from losing a tooth to taking a first step. The photographs were meant to help people around the world focus on what unites us rather than divides us. In 2017, the couple donated the Milestones Project to the ACC Foundation. The exhibit travels worldwide to increase awareness of diversity and inclusivity, thanks to the sponsorship and support of Denver Digital Imaging Center and GlobalMindED.
