Allison Hawes

Art thru different mediums allows for experimentation of growth, creativity, and expression. The art that I have displayed has a lot of symbolism and encouraging messages during these troubled times. I hope my art expresses to you that we all need to pull together, communicate, (Power Lines) and be unified (Unity) thru times of adversity, that there is still hope (Flower), and good fortune (Samurai Cat) and thru clarity (moon) may we discover our strengths, uplift one another and find a place of peace.

Amanda Hawes

Photography is a visual art form in which the photographer and the viewer may have different interpretations. The photography I have included represent hope and resilience for nature’s plants and wildlife as each anticipate either a season ending or beginning. The Super Wolf Blood Moon represents the heart of winter as the fox and squirrel show great fortitude and adaptation as they brave the elements of winter, with hope that Spring will soon arrive. The leaf, plants, and Ladybug, all live, thrive and benefit with the season of summer. I hope that my photography inspires you to experience the wonder of nature and gives you encouragement to know that in a world of unpredictability there is hope for the next season.

Bobbi Shupe

Art is a discovery whether from the creator or as the viewer. It's exciting for me when I'm questioned about how I've achieved a certain texture, color or mood. How amazing to think that something I've created elicits intrigue and wonder.

Candace French

Art became an ally after experiencing the tragic loss of my brother. It was then I rediscovered my passion for painting and the healing power of creativity. Taking an intuitive approach when painting is vital to keeping my creativity and playful expression alive especially while navigating challenging times. I hope you find encouragement and inspiration in my work.

Evette Goldstein

This new series, entitled "Imagination" was begun during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown. By combining my engineering background with my artistic vision, I am able to achieve a striking balance of precision and free-form elements in abstract expressionist paintings ~ thus, the title for the series. Each painting invites and allows the viewer to 'imagine' and to experience their own interpretation.

Pam O'Mara

My motivation comes from time and place. Time of day, time of year, position of the sun. I’m inspired by the motion of water and trees. Painting is performance art; a dance of joy. I use color, texture, and movement to reveal what I’m experiencing, remembering, imagining, and feeling. I move around the canvas, and reposition it to see the work from different perspectives. Painting in the abstract allows me to express boldly and confidently. I choose acrylics because I like the texture and colors, and the ease with which I can create. I’ve worked a bit in oil but prefer the simplicity of acrylics. When I’m painting I want to get right to the work. I mix colors on the canvas. I paint with the colors I have on hand. Just like life: we often work with what we have in the moment.

Rob McIntosh

Enjoy the beauty of nature, carefully!

Robert Montgomery

We have all had a traumatic time, but there is hope. Nature carries on, as will we.......
