Student Expectations for Physical Science Tutoring
- Bring any resources that will help your tutor know what content you are working on (like class notes or assignment instructions).
- Bring a list of specific questions to ask (what problems do you need help with). Make sure to try each problem / assignment on your own first and bring your work so you and the tutor have a good starting point. Then the tutor can help you where you are getting stuck or help you fix your errors.
- A positive attitude and an open mind that views mistakes as an opportunity for growth and understanding.
- A willingness to try new things and be an active participant in the learning process.
