ACC Sturm Collaboration Campus
The Arapahoe Community College Sturm Collaboration Campus at Castle Rock will be open for Fall Semester classes August 19, 2019.
The campus is a partnership between ACC, Douglas County School District (DCSD) and Colorado State University (CSU).
High school students have an opportunity to start college level academics and career exploration during their junior and senior year through our already robust Concurrent Enrollment program. The Sturm Collaboration Campus will provide a smooth pathway from high school diploma to associate degree to bachelor’s degree.
After you complete an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from ACC, you are guaranteed a junior standing at Colorado universities with no more than 60 remaining credits to meet the graduation requirements for the bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Some of the emphasis areas include Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Human Resources Management, Information Systems, International Business, Management, or Marketing.
Healthcare continues to be one of the largest, leading professions in the country. ACC's Health Pathway can help you obtain a degree in the medical field or advance your medical experience with a certification. The Sturm Collaboration Campus will offer a Health Promotion concentration, Sports Medicine concentration, Physical Therapist Assistant, and Nurse Aide Program.
ACC's Cybersecurity program will prepare you to assess the security needs of computer and network systems, recommend safeguard solutions, and manage the implementation and maintenance of security devices, systems and procedures. Our program includes instruction in programming, systems analysis, networking, cryptography, security systems design, law and regulations, risk assessment, contingency planning, user access issues, investigation techniques and troubleshooting. Upon completion of the program, you will have the background needed to take a number of industry certifications.
Our Academic Catalog for 2019-2020 will be available in early March and will contain all the course work required and offered at the Sturm Collaboration Campus.
You can earn an ACC associate degree quickly at the Sturm Collaboration Campus and then further your education with a bachelor's degree from CSU. By following this path, you can save an average of $42,000 in education costs.
In October 2018, the Economic Development Council of Colorado named the Arapahoe Community College Sturm Collaboration Campus at Castle Rock as its Economic Development Partnership of the Year.
