FAFSA Lab

The ACC Office of Financial Aid, in partnership with the Educational Opportunity Center (EOC), is proud to announce the ACC FAFSA Lab.

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Lab will be open every Monday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. in M1030 (Lab will be closed on days that ACC is closed).

Financial Aid professionals will be available to offer assistance with FAFSA changes or completion, creating an FSA ID and password, and any questions related to the FAFSA.

Prevent Procrastination

The ACC Student Success Center will host its Prevent Procrastination "Mid-day Takeaway" workshop on Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 21 and 22, from 11:30 a.m. - noon in the Student Success Center (Room M1650).
 
Learn valuable strategies from Peer Tutors who have excelled in ACC courses. If dates and times do not fit your schedule, please come by the Student Success Center to speak with a Peer Tutor.

Spring Transfer Fair

Black History Live: Harriet Tubman

Date and Time:

Actor and humanities scholar Becky Stone will perform a portrayal of Underground Railroad Conductor Harriet Tubman. Stone will teach how Harriet Tubman transformed her life from one of slavery to liberation. Harriet Tubman was an American abolitionist, humanitarian, and an armed scout and spy for the United States Army during the American Civil War.

The event is free and open to the public.

Diversity Dialogues

ACC employees, students and members of the community are invited to join the weekly discussions around social injustices that are happening in our society.

Clothing Swap and Food Drive

Have some old clothes that you’ve been meaning to get rid of? Now is the time! Bring clothes in and swap them for clothes from others in our ACC community during our Clothing Swap and Food Drive, Tuesday - Thursday, Feb. 28 - March 2!

Clean out your closet while revamping your style! In addition to clothing donations, we will also be taking food donations for the local Salvation Army. List of needed items include canned fruit and vegetables, pasta, cereal and soups.
