It’s smart to Move Mountains at ACC
In addition to our caring faculty, small class sizes, and hundreds of course offerings, ACC has one of the lowest tuitions among Colorado’s public higher education institutions. If you are seeking an even more affordable education, our financial aid advisors are great resources to find more ways to pay for college.
Financial aid can take the form of grants, scholarships, student loans, and work study programs. Download our Financial Aid Application checklist for a quick overview of the application process, or just jump in and start the process by completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Financial Aid Office Offers a FAFSA Lab every Monday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sign up for help completing your FAFSA paperwork. Contact the Financial Aid Office with any questions you have along the way.
Scholarships and Grants
ACC offers a wide variety of scholarships and grants on an annual basis. Scholarships and grants are awards you don't have to pay back. You may be eligible for scholarships even if you are not eligible for Financial Aid. There are scholarships for everyone, you just need to apply!
Applications are typically open from January 1 through March 1, with priority going to those completed by March 1. You must complete the FAFSA prior to applying for a scholarship. Be sure to check the deadlines for your applications so you get yours in on time!
College Opportunity Fund (COF)
If you are a Colorado resident, the COF currently offers $94 per credit hour for the 2019-2020 academic year for public institutions. The online application is quick, easy and only needs to be completed one time.
Veterans enrolling in ACC may be eligible for assistance from the VA. Visit ACC’s Veteran Benefits Office for more information on how to apply.
