Residency and Tuition Classification
Tuition classification is based on the information provided on the application for admission. Failure to answer all questions could lead to initial classification as "Non-Resident." After your student status is determined, it remains unchanged in the absence of satisfactory evidence to the contrary. Colorado state residency requirements can be found on the Colorado Department of Higher Education Residency Requirements website.
The State of Colorado Tuition Classification requires domicile (legal, primary residence) in Colorado for a full 12 months before the start of the semester. Your residency classification determines the tuition rates you will pay.
