Veterans Study Lounge (M1630)

The Veterans Study Lounge is a welcoming study space open to all ACC Veterans and Military-connected students. Stop by and meet your fellow veterans and find out what resources and services are available on campus. Snacks, coffee and beverages are regularly available.

Veteran receiving benefits automatically have swipe access to the room. If you are not receiving educational benefits and desire access to the Veterans Study Lounge on your student ID, visit the campus police at M2630 (Main building, 2nd floor).

Book Loan Program

Looking for a book for your class? First, stop by the Veterans Study Lounge (M1630) and view the book loan library. You can borrow a book for the semester at no charge.  At the end of the semester, don’t sell back your books, donate them to the book loan

Writing Assistance (available Fall and Spring semesters)

Available only for Veterans, Jeff Craig is a former Sergeant, USMC and received his Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Denver, College of Business. Jeff has experience working for the Federal government for over 30 years and owned his own consulting firm. Jeff brings a wealth of practical experience to assist our Veterans and military-connected students on campus.

Veterans Upward Bound

Veterans Upward Bound is a program that helps veterans refresh academic skills and provide the confidence needed to successfully pursue a college degree or a postsecondary vocational training program. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, VUB programs and services are provided to eligible veterans completely free of charge. Metro State University of Denver is host to a VUB program and regularly at ACC providing students with information about this program. Learn more about the VUB program.
