You will complete 4 progressive Spanish language courses, with a passing grade, focused on reading, writing, listening, speaking, and cultural competence, followed by a capstone conversational course aimed specifically at professional and workplace contexts.
Courses That Count Toward the Spanish Achievement Certificate
To be awarded this certificate, you must complete the Spanish language sequence required for the SPA AA program: SPA 1011, 1012, 2011, and 2012. Whether you transfer credits, place into a higher-level course based on your proficiency, or do the complete course sequence at ACC, you are still expected to progress through and complete SPA 2012, and an advanced Spanish for specific purposes (SPA 2015, 2035, 2061, 2075).
