What You’ll Receive
As an Englewood Scholar, you will receive a scholarship of up to $2,000 disbursed over your time at ACC, along with so much more!
- You will be supported by a team of advisors, professors, and peer mentors dedicated to your success.
- You will work with a designated advisor who will help you choose an academic path and plan to earn a certificate or degree that will lead you to a career in a field you’ll love.
- You will receive guided advising to help you select courses and register for a class schedule aligned with your work schedule and personal commitments.
Together we can plan the courses you’ll take each semester to achieve your goals, whether you hope
to transfer to a university or enter the workforce.
What We Expect from You
As an Englewood Grads to ACC Scholar, we expect you to complete the following:
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA while attending ACC
- Complete the FAFSA if applicable at fafsa.gov
- Apply for ACC scholarships at arapahoe.edu/scholarships
- Check your ACC student email regularly
- Meet twice a semester with your ACC Advisor
- Participate in ACC’s First Year Experience
- Including FREE Summer Bridge Program
Become an Ambassador
Take this program to the next level - become a paid Englewood Scholar Peer Mentor! Share your own experience attending ACC with high school seniors preparing their own post-secondary plans. As a Peer
Mentor, you will:
- Visit high schools in Englewood School District to answer questions about ACC
- Reach out to prospective applicants
- Represent ACC at college fairs, FAFSA labs, and community events
Being an Englewood Scholar enhances your resume / career and improve your life. By attending ACC and
earning a certificate or degree, you will be able to provide a better future for yourself and your family.
