CIP 310501 (PTF)
The Exercise Health Sciences Program offers an academically rigorous Personal Training/Fitness Instruction certification that is stackable to the associate degree and can be completed in one short challenging semester. This certificate will focus on exercise testing and prescription along with group fitness instruction that includes beat driven classes along with non-beat/ choreographed fitness classes. It is recommended that students seek advising from program coordinator to ensure success in the classroom and transferability of classes to four year schools. Students need to attend a new program student meeting and have a successful criminal background check on file in coordinator's office prior to the first day of class.
