Winchester Receives $9K Dream Support Grant from NSLS
Arapahoe Community College (ACC) student Isaac Winchester has been selected to receive a Dream Support Grant from the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) Foundation.
The NSLS Foundation aims to empower and engage individuals as they embark on fulfilling their potential, and the Dream Support Grant was developed to support individuals in achieving their dream. Isaac received a Dream Support Grant of $9,000 for a student initiative to get menstrual hygiene products into the gender-neutral restrooms on campus.
The mission of the NSLS is to provide a life-changing leadership program to help students achieve personal growth and career success while empowering them to have a positive impact in their community. The NSLS currently serves over 800 schools across the country and has more than 2 million members.
Isaac was also selected as a Newman Civic Fellow this past fall in addition to being named as an ACC Rising Star in 2022. Isaac, who serves on the executive board of ACC's Phi Theta Kappa and NSLS honor societies, also currently holds the position of Secretary as ACC's representative on the State Student Advisory Council.
