ACC Students – Vaccinated? Opportunities for rewards!

ACC Pumas!

Did you get the COVID-19 vaccination? Thank you for doing your part to slow the spread of COVID-19! One shot? Two shots? Either way – show us that vaccine card and you may be randomly selected to win more than protection against COVID-19!

Take a minute to complete this online form & upload a picture of your vaccine card (or share with us the allowable exemption reason in the form). You may redact any personal information when you upload the picture of your card. Each week, we will randomly select from the ACC students who share this information – if you are not selected that week, your name will remain in the pool. If selected, you will be notified by email. First notification will be Thursday, July 15, and then each Thursday, with the last selection on August 19, 2021. Our records show you have enrolled in an ACC course in the last week, and we wanted to invite you to take advantage of this opportunity.

  • One randomly selected student per week will win $2500 to be applied to their ACC account for Fall 2021 or Spring 2022 – your choice!
  • Two randomly students per week will receive $100 Bookstore / Café gift cards.

ACC does not require reporting of vaccination to attend classes. However – as a community college, ACC supports public health efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19. We care about our students, staff and faculty and their health. ACC will continue to promote our Pumas practice prevention of the spread of COVID-19!

Not vaccinated yet?

  • Free, convenient COVID-19 vaccines are available at ACC’s Littleton Campus through July in the ACC parking lot. Monday – Friday (12-7pm).

ACC - Fall 2021 COVID 19 Emergency Grants available

ACC has received funds to assist students impacted by COVID-19. These funds are available to ACC students. If you have incurred expenses or hardships related to the coronavirus, these funds may assist. These emergency funds may help if you are struggling to pay rent, buy food, pay for childcare, and pay for related healthcare expenses, and academic-related expenses such as a computer purchase or upgrades to your internet service if you are accessing courses remotely. If you are struggling to pay any ACC expenses or need assistance taking classes in an upcoming semester, these funds may assist also. Please fill out the grant application online now to be considered. Funds will be processed through your ACC Bank Mobile account (for more information see Student Refunds). The funding is limited and will be distributed to students on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive an email if funds are distributed to you. Please allow up to 30 days for ACC to process application.

Eligibility will be verified prior to the distribution of grant funding. By completing this application, you are indicating you currently are or have experienced challenges caused by COVID-19 that are requiring you to seek support to continue your education. Please do not complete this application if you have not been impacted by COVID-19.

Notes:

  • You will only be able to submit one application at this time. Once you press submit, the form will not allow you to re-submit.
  • All ACC students regardless of citizenship are eligible.
  • Your application will be assessed for all eligible funding streams.
  • Students who have completed a Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) will be awarded faster. Not having a FAFSA on file will not make you ineligible for the funds, but it will mean ACC has to take additional steps to meet federal guidelines for distributing the funds. This may take additional time and possibly follow up to verify if you are eligible for the funds per the HEERF III federal guidelines that ACC must follow.
  • To receive a refund, students will have to set up refund preferences through Bank Mobile.

The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III (HEERF III) is authorized by the American Rescue Plan (ARP), Public Law 117-2, signed into law on March 11, 2021, providing $39.6 billion in support to institutions of higher education to serve students and ensure learning continues during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We hope you will take this opportunity to protect yourself and fellow Pumas and make this upcoming school year one where we Pumas can continue to gather, learn and Move Mountains!
