Downtown Littleton Art DistrictJoin us at the ACC Art and Design Center on Friday, Aug. 7, for the First Friday Art Walk from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

The newly-formed Downtown Littleton Art District is a collaborative effort between the City of Littleton, the Arapahoe Community College Art and Design Center, and the numerous galleries in the downtown Littleton area.

Enjoy fine arts and crafts while you stroll and shop at participating galleries.

This year’s Western Welcome Week celebration will run from Aug. 7-16.  The theme for 2015 is Birthday Bash!

Festivities will include the Family Pancake Breakfast at ACC on Sunday morning, Aug. 9, from 7:30 – 11:30 a.m.  Enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage, as well as orange juice, milk, chocolate milk and coffee, for $5 per person (children age 4 and under are free).

ACC will also host the Kids Games of Old and the Stick Horse Stampede on the morning of Aug. 9.

2015 Affordable Arts FestivalArapahoe Community College will host the Fourth Annual Affordable Arts Festival on Sunday, Aug. 30, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Littleton Campus (5900 S. Santa Fe Drive).  The Affordable Arts Festival is managed and promoted by Jim DeLutes, Director of the Downtown Denver Arts Festival.

2015 ARTISTS

The Affordable Arts Festival will feature fine arts and fine crafts - all for sale for under $100 - by 140 artists from 18 states.  Online tickets for this event are available for $6, and admission at the gate will be $5.  Proceeds from admission fees will benefit the ACC Foundation.

2015 Affordable Arts Festival“The Affordable Arts Festival will give great artists a perfect venue to sell their existing inventory, new inspirations and past creations, while providing people with a friendly, unintimidating place to see, experience and buy high-quality artwork all for under $100," said DeLutes, who has served as the Director of the Downtown Denver Arts Festival since 2007.  "The Affordable Arts Festival is the fastest growing festival in the region, and is ranked #36 out of 600 national shows by the Art Fair Sourcebook."

The Affordable Arts Festival will take place on the west lawn at ACC's Littleton Campus.  The Southwest Line (C or D) of the RTD Light Rail is located just two blocks east of ACC.  Free parking is also available in designated lots throughout campus.

The Architecture and Interior Design Faculty and Alumni Exhibition opens today.  The exhibit runs through Oct. 9.

The work will represent architecture and interior design drawings, models and commercial work.  Admission is free and the exhibit is open to the public.  Hours of operation:

MONDAY - FRIDAY:  Noon - 5:00 p.m. (open Tuesdays until 7:00 p.m.)
SATURDAY / SUNDAY:  closed

This is ColoradoThe 'This is Colorado' Juried Exhibition opens today.  The exhibit runs through Nov. 13.  The festivities will include an opening reception with light refreshments on Friday, Oct. 23, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

The juror for this exhibit is ACC Adjunct Painting Instructor Marsha Wooley.  Admission is free and the exhibit is open to the public.  Hours of operation:
