We are still accepting and reviewing the 2023-2024 FAFSA application which is used to determine financial aid eligibility for the spring 2024 and summer 2024 semesters. The 2023-2024 FAFSA will use income and tax return data for the 2021 tax year.

The 2024-2025 FAFSA is scheduled to open by December 31, 2023 and we will begin reviewing these applications for the fall 2024, spring 2025 and summer 2025 semesters. We can also review this application for the summer 2024 semester. This application will use income and tax return data for the 2022 tax year.

You will need the following to complete the 2023-2024 and/or 2024-2025 FAFSA applications:

  • Your Social Security Number or Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
  • Your federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool/Direct Data Exchange)
  • Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
  • Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
  • An FSA ID to sign electronically

If you are a dependent student, then you will also need most of the above information for your parent(s), including their own FSA ID.

IMPORTANT: The 2024-2025 FAFSA is changing. You can review the ACC blog post outlining some of the important changes (The FAFSA is Changing! Here’s What You Should Know).
