We are coming together on March 27 at 1pm in the Student Lounge (2nd floor - Main Building - Littleton Campus) to honor the legacy of César Chávez and Dolores Huerta. Along with the commemoration, we have included 4 panelists to speak to students and staff about their career and life’s journey as social rights advocates.

Meet Our Panelists
Ally Garcia received her Doctor of Education degree from the University of Denver. She currently serves as the State Director for the Office of Adult Education Initiatives.
Andrea Loya is a proud daughter of immigrants and an immigrant herself. She was born in Mexico City and her family immigrated to the United States when she was 3 years old. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Casa de Paz.
Rep. David Ortiz is a pioneering figure in Colorado politics, serving as the Democratic representative for the state's 38th House District.
Leah Porter, an inspiring first-generation college graduate, embodies resilience, determination, and an unwavering commitment to education. She currently serves as the Program Manager at the College Renaissance Corps.
