Introduces pharmacological management of patients within the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) scope of practice. This course covers how to administer medications safely by various routes, how to start an intravenous line, and how to calculate drug doses. The pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of the AEMT scope medications are discussed in detail, along with the indications, contraindications, and doses of each medication.
