ACC Celebrates 56th Commencement on May 12

Arapahoe Community College (ACC) is proud to announce the celebration of its 2023 commencement on Friday afternoon, May 12, beginning at 2:00pm at Magness Arena inside the Ritchie Center on the campus of the University of Denver.

More than 320 graduates are expected to be on hand at Magness Arena to participate in ACC’s 56th annual commencement (nearly 1,500 students are earning degrees or certificates). Kelli McCarthy will serve as ACC’s Faculty Speaker and 2023 PTK All-Colorado Academic Team honoree Ryan Wade will be the student speaker.

“Congratulations to all of our amazing 2023 graduates,” expressed ACC President Stephanie J. Fujii, Ph.D. “Our students continue to impress me with their accomplishments and academic success, and I wish them all the best with their future endeavors as they enter the workforce or continue their education."

Tickets are not required, and doors to Magness Arena will open at 1:00pm for both students and guests.

ASL and Spanish translation services will be available at commencement, and ACC is providing a live stream of the event. Free parking will be available in specified DU lots. Please be advised that Magness Arena security will be checking all bags and purses upon entry (list of prohibited items).
