Alice Feagan is an award-winning children’s book author and illustrator. A common theme throughout her work is the celebration of nature – flora, fauna, and the way children interact with/impact the natural world. This interest was cultivated by a childhood spent splashing in creeks and hiking through forests in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Her work can be found in books and magazines for children from: Penguin /Random House, Holiday House, Kids Can Press, National Geographic Magazine, Ranger Rick Magazine, and Sourcebooks (forthcoming). She now lives in the mountains of Colorado with her husband and two young sons.
