Bilingual, student-centered professional with over 10 years of educational, academic, personal, social, and career counseling experience working with adolescent, undergraduate and graduate student populations in individual and in-group settings. My passion is giving back to the community, being a role model and serving as a mentor in preparing students for success. My ultimate goal is to be a Director of a Multicultural Multilingual Support Center where all backgrounds come together with a goal and collective mission in mind: creating a safe space where students can discuss how we can promote peace, individuality and a culture where differences are embraced and respected. In addition, with 3 years of event management experience-properly coordinating and professionally executing various types of events from weddings to baby showers providing exceptional customer service to meet each client's needs. Jazmyne currently serves in the Inclusive Excellence Council where professionals of Arapahoe Community College whose mission is to promote diversity and serve as role models. IEC is an organization that leads inclusive excellence initiatives on campus participation LatinX and LBGTQIA affinity groups. It is a task force under the president ultimately instead of having a diversity officer we have a council under college president to ensure inclusive excellence of areas that may come across as barriers for those involved.
