Biography

Jason Schrock has been selected as the new Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services (VPFAS) at ACC. Schrock comes to ACC from the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade where he served as the Lead Economist – as well as a member of the leadership team – for the State Recovery Office.

Prior to that, Schrock was the Chief Financial Officer for the Colorado Department of Higher Education, where he directed and implemented the budget strategy for the Colorado Commission on Higher Education. He also led external engagement efforts on budget issues with the state’s public institutions of higher education, the Governor’s office, and legislative agencies.

Schrock’s experience also includes a position as Deputy Director for the Governor's Office of State Planning and Budgeting (OSPB) during the Hickenlooper administration, where he administered oversight of Colorado's budget and fiscal issues. Schrock was also OSPB's Chief Economist, as well, responsible for analyzing and forecasting the Colorado economy and state government revenue for the Governor and other state budget leaders.

Schrock began his career working for the Colorado Legislative Council Staff where he performed research and analysis for the Colorado General Assembly on economic and public finance matters. He is past president of the Denver Association of Business Economists and has been a board member of the organization since 2011. Schrock is also an advisory board member for the Credit Union of Colorado.
