I have worked and studied in disability-related areas since 2005, including research, healthcare, and education. Before coming to ACC, I earned degrees in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at CU Boulder and MSU Denver. I also completed my B.A. in Linguistics at CU Boulder. My experience centers around mental health, language, and learning disabilities.
Within my work, I enjoy supporting students as they complete college, become effective self-advocates, and learn how disability fits into their identities. I have a particular interest in increasing understanding and acceptance of the invisible aspects of disability.
Outside work, I love to read sci-fi and fantasy, cook, and play board games.
