Bookstore Information!!

ACTION ITEM FOR today, Friday, August 15: Understanding course materials and where to find them.

Several of you have questions about books or materials for class..a good place to start is this webpage that has helpful instructions, links to online ordering, and contact information.

  • Open Today! The ACC bookstore on Littleton Main Campus is open today, Friday, August 15, from 11:30am – 4:00pm to pick up materials or you may order your books online.
  • Finding your books online. You can locate what books/materials you need for your class in two ways, 1) go to the bookstore website, scroll down and sign in to the ‘Course Materials Concierge’ with your ACC information, you’ll need your S#, or 2) go to the bookstore website, scroll down and select the ‘Search Now’ button, enter your course info (term/dept/course#/section#), and select “retrieve materials” .
  • Pick up. If you order a physical book you can choose to pick up at either Littleton or Sturm campus or have it shipped to your home. Check the address listed under Pickup Location when placing your order. Click on the Change Pickup Location button if you want to change the campus for pick up.
  • OER (Open Educational Resources). Open Educational Resources for a class (OER = Free!) You can check out this list to see if your course has OER materials. You can also enter information on the bookstore’s website for your specific class here to see if it has OER materials.
  • D2L Course Shells. Courses will open in D2L on Friday, August 15 by noon. You will be able to access course materials that are included (OER) once your D2L shell has opened for your specific courses. Questions about D2L? What is it? Check out this webpage for more info.
  • First Day™ Inclusive Access Materials. This is bookstore wording and here is a great explanation from our sister school, Front Range Community College. It is digital course materials included as an additional course charge for specific courses. You will see this in your D2L course shell.
  • Opt-Out. What does that mean? Opt-out is when you choose not to use available First Day™ inclusive access materials that have a cost. You must opt-out in your D2L course shell to not be charged for those digital materials. Front Range Community College has a webpage that explains opt-out, scroll to the bottom of that page. Once you opt-out of the digital materials, you can then order hard-copy versions instead. You can do that either by ordering online through our bookstore or ordering them elsewhere. Opt-Out will be available from the first day of class through the tenth day of class.

Hope that makes things easier to understand!  Check out the bookstore and D2L!

As always – we’re here to answer questions and we’re excited for you to join us for Fall 2025 at ACC!
