What degree(s) / certificate(s) did you earn at your transfer institution?

I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

I'm working full-time at ACC and pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Online at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU).

What's your Mountain (your ultimate goal)?

My ultimate goal as a student is to achieve a Computer Science degree as well as a Master of Divinity degree (I'd like to pursue an Apologetics MDiv, but would be interested in a Theology MDiv as well).

What's your favorite ACC memory?

It's difficult to pin down a specific favorite memory, but I think one of my favorites would definitely be working on Saturdays in the Open Computer Lab. I got to meet some interesting people and I was able to help a lot of people too!

Which class was your favorite and why?

This is a hard one to pin down as well, but I'd say my favorite class was Western Civilization with Professor Gore. Professor Gore made class interesting and fun, and I enjoyed investigating historical mysteries for our final project!

Why did you choose ACC?

ACC is very close to where I live, and I had a group of friends that also went to ACC and recommended me to join them here.

Advice or words of wisdom for future students?

Get to know your instructors! ACC is filled with instructors who love helping students and work hard to make sure students succeed. There were many instructors that I appreciated and worked with during my time as a student at ACC, and I always felt like I was supported and could reach out for any help if I needed it.

Anything else you'd like to share?

A lot of classes apply to a General Studies degree, so if you're not quite sure what you'd like to do or are interested in different paths, try out different things and see what works for you! I didn't quite narrow down the direction I wanted to go until more than halfway through my degree, so explore your interests and take your time figuring out your path.

What is your job at ACC?

Technology Training Coordinator

What do you do at ACC (explain your role)?

I create, schedule, coordinate, and provide a variety of technology focused trainings. Currently, these trainings are focused towards staff at ACC, but eventually the trainings will include student focused training as well.

How long have you been at ACC?

5 years (both part-time and full-time)

Why did you choose ACC?

I was a student at ACC and was interested in the Work-Study program. I could work where I went to school, which meant less commute times between work and school and more time for both work and school. I was hired with the eLearning (now Learning Technology) department, and was passionate about the work that we do! I loved working for eLearning, and wanted to eventually work full-time, and after achieving my Associate's degree the opportunity arose so I took it!

What is your mountain (ultimate goal)?

My ultimate goal as a staff member is to provide strong technology trainings for the faculty, staff and students of ACC.

What's your favorite ACC memory so far?

My favorite working memory at ACC so far has definitely been BCC Week, it was great to get to meet so many people and be able to provide trainings to such great audiences! I enjoyed getting to meet and know people around ACC better, and I look forward to working with and meeting even more people here in the future!

Tell us a fun fact about you.

I wrote and co-wrote articles for the Design for All Institute of India along with other authors here at ACC that was published in the May 2022 issue!
