Defining the Position

Networking & Screening of Prospective Candidates
Sourcing and Networking of Potential Candidates
Regular reports to the search chair(s) on the progress of the searchBi-Weekly

Narrowing the Field
Search Advisory Committee Recommends Semi-Finalists
Search advisory committee identifies a pool of candidates they will recommend to interview.
Chancellor Garcia will review recommendations.Mid-March
Interviews with Semi-Finalists
Search advisory committee interviews semi-finalist candidates via video. Subsequently, the
committee makes recommendations of finalists to Chancellor Garcia.March 24, 25, and 26
Selecting the New President
Finalists Meet with ACC Community
3-5 finalists will meet with ACC stakeholders. Stakeholders will provide feedback to Chancellor Garcia.Early – Mid April
Chancellor Garcia reviews feedback and makes a final determination of the next ACC President.Early May
