Arapahoe Community College has been selected to receive a $2,394,110 workforce training grant from the US Department of Labor.


Arapahoe Community College has received a $100,000 grant from the Temple Hoyne Buell Foundation, as announced today by Courtney Loehfelm, Executive Director of the ACC Foundation.

The grant is designated to be used for the ACC Child Development Center expansion and lab school.  The grant period is May 1, 2015, through April 30, 2016.

Joel Marquez began taking Concurrent Enrollment classes at Arapahoe Community College in the fall of 2011 as a freshman at Sheridan High School.  Now, nearly four years later, Marquez will not only be graduating as Sheridan’s class of 2015 Valedictorian, he will be earning his Associate of Science (General) from ACC.

“After taking the Advanced Academic Achievement (AAA 109) course my freshman year, I went on to take two classes – math and English – as a sophomore,” said Marquez. “I began attending ACC full-time my junior year.”


Arapahoe Community College and Colorado School of Mines have announced the completion of a new transfer agreement.

Students can now transfer from ACC to Mines prior to, or upon completion of, their Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree.  FULL DETAILS
