Biography

Danielle Staples is the Associate Provost and Dean for Communication, Humanities, Arts and Design. Danielle began as a high school instructor in 2003 and transitioned to community college work in 2007. Since working at ACC, Danielle has taught math, education, and first-year success courses. Danielle started at ACC in 2011 as a part-time math instructor. Since then, Danielle has served as a math faculty member, math department chair, Associate Dean, Dean, and now Associate Provost. Danielle has a PhD in Higher Education Leadership with a concentration in Community College Leadership and a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction. Danielle’s administrative focus and mission are to provide a high-quality education for all, and as such, she is dedicated to innovation, inclusivity, and student success.
