Career Services Honored as Handshake Career Spark Award Winner

Arapahoe Community College (ACC) Career Services has been named as a Handshake Career Spark Award winner for 2025.
 
The Career Spark Awards use Handshake data to recognize higher education career centers in 3 categories: student engagement, employer engagement, and reporting and analytics. Handshake is the largest, most diverse early talent network in the country, actively connecting 75% of all U.S. college students through their school's career center with one million employers. Handshake is ACC's official online platform for students to find jobs and internships.
 
This award recognizes ACC’s efforts to offer students relevant and dependable support as they develop their careers, as well as support of students’ transition from ACC into the workforce. ACC was one of just 40 nationwide institutions (out of more than 1,500 schools using Handshake) – and one of only 10 community colleges – to be recognized this year.
