Downtown Littleton Art DistrictJoin us at the ACC Art and Design Center on Friday, August 5, for the First Friday Art Walk from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

The Downtown Littleton Art District is a collaborative effort between the City of Littleton, the Arapahoe Community College Art and Design Center, and the numerous galleries in the downtown Littleton area.

Enjoy fine arts and crafts while you shop at participating galleries.  Start at the Depot Art Gallery (plenty of parking will be available).

The Art of AgingHealthONE presents "The Art of Aging" Denver Expo on Saturday, Aug. 6, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Arapahoe Community College Littleton Campus.

More than 100 vendors will be on hand to share knowledge about legal & insurance, travel & technology, real estate & home improvement, and education & recruitment.  Festivities will include 12 guest speaker breakouts by top professionals in Denver, as well as live music and giveaways.  This event is free and open to the public.

Arapahoe Community College is proud to be a sponsor of the 2016 Littleton Twilight Criterium.

The Littleton Twilight Criterium is back for its fourth year, and its second year as a national race on the USA Cycling Pro Road Tour.  The race will benefit Doctors Care and draw the best competitors from all over the United States.  The racing will start in the afternoon (3:30 p.m.) and finish under the lights (10:30 p.m.).  FREE PARKING WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ALL ACC PARKING LOTS FOR THIS EVENT

It’s a festival atmosphere featuring food, drinks, music and BMX demonstrations from King BMX.  The nationally-acclaimed acapella group FACE will take the stage at 4:30 p.m., followed by the upbeat tunes of Thumpin’ at 8:00 p.m.

The Kaleidoscope Juried Exhibition closing reception will be held today from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Colorado Gallery of the Arts at Arapahoe Community College.  The juror for this show is ACC Art Department Chair Angela Faris Belt.

Admission is free and the closing reception is open to the public.

2016 Western Welcome Week logoThis year’s Western Welcome Week celebration will run from Aug. 12-21.  The theme for 2016 is Salute to Educators.

Festivities will include the Family Pancake Breakfast at ACC on Sunday morning, Aug. 14, from 7:30 – 11:30 a.m.  Enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage, as well as orange juice, milk, chocolate milk and coffee, for $5 per person (children age 4 and under are free).

ACC will also host the Kids Games of Old and the Stick Horse Stampede on the morning of Aug. 14.

2015 Affordable Arts FestivalArapahoe Community College will host the Fifth Annual Affordable Arts Festival on Sunday, Aug. 28, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (new hours) at the Littleton Campus (5900 S. Santa Fe Drive).  The Affordable Arts Festival is managed and promoted by Jim DeLutes, Director of the Denver Arts Festival.

2016 ARTISTS COMING SOON

The Affordable Arts Festival will feature fine arts and fine crafts - all for sale for under $100 - from more than 140 artists.  Online tickets for this event are available for $6, and admission at the gate will be $5.  Children age 12-and-under receive free admission.  Proceeds from admission fees will benefit the ACC Foundation.

2016 Affordable Arts Festival“The Affordable Arts Festival will give great artists a perfect venue to sell their existing inventory, new inspirations and past creations, while providing people with a friendly, unintimidating place to see, experience and buy high-quality artwork all for under $100," said DeLutes, who has served as the Director of the Downtown Denver Arts Festival since 2007.  "The Affordable Arts Festival is the fastest growing festival in the region."

The Affordable Arts Festival will take place on the west lawn at ACC's Littleton Campus.  The Southwest Line (C or D) of the RTD Light Rail is located just two blocks east of ACC.  Free parking is also available in designated lots throughout campus.

Arapahoe Community College's "Barcelona to Paris: A Visual Journey" art exhibition begins today with an opening reception from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.  Today's festivities will include light refreshments.

The show will feature paintings and photography from students and faculty who traveled to France and Spain during the summer of 2016.  The exhibit runs through Oct. 4.

Admission is free and the exhibit is open to the public.  Hours of operation:

MONDAY - FRIDAY:  Noon - 5:00 p.m. (Tuesdays until 7:00 p.m.)
SATURDAY / SUNDAY:  closed
