Biography

Professional background/prior experience: Century College in Minnesota; South Piedmont Community College in North Carolina; Northern Arizona University; United States Peace Corps Academic/Professional interests: Culturally Responsive Pedagogy; Poverty Awareness; Rhetoric of Social Change; Accelerated Developmental Writing. Personal interests: I’m passionate about teaching, the rhetoric of social movements, equity and access to education, and the intersection of poverty and education. When I’m not teaching, working for equity, doing Englishy stuff, or writing personal bios, I enjoy playing and coaching soccer, hiking, and hanging out with my wife.
