Ruiz-Jargon

A Colorado native, Maria was born in Boulder and raised in Denver. She graduated from Denver South High School before attending the University of Colorado Boulder and graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Anthropology and Linguistics. Over the years, Maria has continually advocated for student access to higher education, having worked at the University of Colorado Boulder in a retention program for underrepresented students and at a pre-collegiate program for first generation college students. She continues to support TRIO students on their educational journey at ACC.
