Biography
Kathy Hartzler brings over 15 years of experience in finance, operations, and project leadership to her role at Arapahoe Community College. Before joining ACC, she was a Senior Manager – Consultant at Pariveda, a national consulting firm, where she led strategic and technical transformation projects, including overseeing 54 Workspace ONE deployments and delivering executive-level briefings to guide capital planning and risk mitigation.
Her prior experience includes serving as a Senior Accounting Project Coordinator at NGL Energy Partners, a north American midstream energy company, where she supported a major ERP digital transformation from on-prem EBS to Oracle Cloud and optimized financial reporting.
At Jet Linx Aviation, she served as Senior Vice President of Finance and was responsible for managing the organization’s $18 million annual operating budget. She developed long-range financial strategies, improved cost recovery systems, and streamlined reporting and tax compliance—ultimately reducing operating debt and recovering $50K in state of Colorado taxes. Her work supported sustainable growth and improved resource allocation across the company.
Kathy is known for her collaborative style, ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, and her deep commitment to public service and operational excellence. She is thrilled to contribute to the mission of ACC by supporting thoughtful budgeting, planning, and resource alignment that enables student success.
Outside of work, Kathy enjoys paddleboarding, biking, and volunteering in the Denver community.
