Professional background/prior experience: Amy began teaching full-time at ACC in 2011 and assumed department chair responsibilities in 2014. From 2007-11, Amy was Adjunct Faculty at the Community College of Aurora’s Department of Psychology and the Center for Workforce Development, Colorado Technical University’s General Education and Criminal Justice programs, and Red Rocks Community College. For five years prior to these positions, Amy worked to integrate Earth and space science research and education as an Education Coordinator at the Space Science Institute, a regional Broker/Facilitator of the NASA Science Mission Directorate.
