Fujii Selected for Aspen Presidents Fellowship
Arapahoe Community College (ACC) President Stephanie J. Fujii, PhD, is one of 23 innovative leaders selected from across the country to participate in the 3rd cohort of the Aspen Presidents Fellowship.
The fellows will engage in a unique year-long professional development experience that will help them refine and enact a reform agenda to help more of their students succeed during, and after, their college experience.
Through the year-long program, fellows will work alongside highly accomplished community college presidents and Aspen leaders to analyze their colleges’ outcomes and develop concrete plans inspired by field-leading practices. The curriculum includes real-world exemplars, data on student outcomes and in-demand jobs, and insights on how current practices align with research-proven strategies that drive high levels of student success.
"I am honored to be selected to the Aspen Presidents Fellowship," said ACC President Stephanie J. Fujii, PhD. "I look forward to delving into how we can advance ACC’s mission of driving new and creative approaches to education, with a focus on building forward-thinking pathways to social and economic mobility. This work positions us to continue leveraging our innovative, workforce-aligned programs to ensure our students are equipped with skills and opportunities to thrive."
Aspen connects and supports this growing network of community college reform leaders through targeted professional development, research briefings, and convenings at national conferences.
