Theory/Lab (NUA 101)

ALL LABS ARE MANDATORY

Three sections of the program are offered each semester: The general start dates are August, January, and early May.

  • Traditional Classroom Format: Section 102
    • Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays (Class Tuesday, Lab Thursday)
    • Class meets at 4:00 p.m. until 7:50 p.m. (3:00 p.m. until 7:50 p.m. during the summer)
    • Weekly for nine weeks (weekly for seven weeks in summer).
  • Weekday Hybrid Class Format: Section 301
    • Theory is online. Student must access D2L (Desire 2 Learn) through the ACC website, the Monday prior to the first Lab day, for assignments
    • Class meets at 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. (8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. during the summer)
    • Weekly for nine weeks (weekly for seven weeks in the summer)
  • Weekend Hybrid Class Format: Section 302
    • Theory is online. Student must access D2L through the ACC website, for lab assignments o the Monday prior to the first Saturday lab
    • Class meets at 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. (8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. during the summer)
    • Weekly for nine weeks (weekly for seven weeks in the summer)
    • The program meets exclusively on weekends. With one on campus day during the week.

*Summer Courses - although structured the same as the fall and spring semesters, class time will be increased to accommodate fewer weeks during the summer semester.

Students in the hybrid sections are expected to familiarize themselves with the online environment.
