Theory/Lab (NUA 101)

Students will need a picture I.D with "nurse aide student" designation from Campus Police, Room 2600

ALL LABS ARE MANDATORY

Three sections of the program are offered each semester: The general start dates are August, January, and early May.

  • Traditional Classroom Format: Section 102
    • Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays (Class Tuesday, Lab Thursday)
    • Class meets at 4:00 p.m. until 7:50 p.m. (3:00 p.m. until 7:50 p.m. during the summer)
    • Weekly for nine weeks.
  • Weekday Hybrid Class Format: Section 301
    • Theory is online. Student must access D2L (Desire 2 Learn) through the ACC website, the Monday prior to the first Lab day, for Lab assignments
    • Class meets at 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. (8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. during the summer)
    • Weekly for nine weeks (weekly for seven weeks in the summer)
    • Students must take the orientation for D2L online learning, if this is their first online class (select the online learning tab)
  • Weekend Hybrid Class Format: Section 303
    • Theory is online. Student must access D2L through the ACC website, for lab assignments o the Monday prior to the first Saturday lab
    • Class meets at 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. (8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. during the summer)
    • Weekly for nine weeks (weekly for seven weeks in the summer)
    • Students must take the orientation for D2L online learning, if this is their first online class (select the online learning tab)
    • The program meets exclusively on weekend days. One possible Friday requirement.

*Summer Courses - although structured the same as the fall and spring semesters, class time will be increased to accommodate fewer weeks during the summer semester.
