How Financial Aid Works
Financial aid, once awarded and accepted, is simply viewed as a payment against your student account or bill. You don’t have to accept grant awards, but if you want work study or loans to help pay for school there will be a couple of extra steps you need to take.
You do have to maintain good grades and make good progress toward the completion of your degree in order to keep your financial aid. If you do not complete the full semester, you might owe some of your financial aid back to the US Department of Education.
