Peer Mentoring/Tutoring: Advanced students who have excelled in many of the classes you’re taking provide specific course strategies and offer general college information. From note taking to test taking, learn how to be more successful.

Writing Center: You can schedule one-on-one appointments for writing assignments in any class. Discuss topic ideas, thesis statements, organization, research, and editing and revising techniques with writing professionals.

Math Support: Get help from ACC faculty with difficult concepts, homework, graphing calculators, and online resources to build your confidence in any math course.

Professional Tutoring: Want to form your own study group but need a tutor to lead it? Encourage some of your classmates to complete Student Request for Tutor forms and a tutor can be arranged.

Supplemental Instruction: If you are taking BIO 201 (Anatomy/Physiology) or are enrolled in our nursing program, get set up in weekly small group sessions led by biology majors and fourth semester nursing students. Review lecture material, prepare for lab practicals and exams, and acquire better study skills.
