I am excited to say that I am currently FT Faculty, I came to ACC as a Simulation Technician for the Nursing and EMS Dept. April 2021. I have been thoroughly enjoying facilitating nursing student skills lab, simulations, and clinical make-up for the Nursing program, as well as teaching courses, lab support, and clinical instructor for the NUA program. I am looking forward to continuing to make a strong contribution to the team, ACC, and the community.

I am currently working on a MSN Ed. I obtained a BSN from MSU Denver in 2017 and became a Registered Nurse in 2018. As a RN, I have experience working with patients with Eating Disorders, Traumatic Brain / Spinal Cord Injuries, in the Emergency Room, Home Hospice Case Manager, Travel Nurse, COVID Screener, School Nurse, Vaccine Nurse, as well as Home Health. I obtained a BS in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from MSU Denver in 2014, with this degree I worked as a Food Safety Health Inspector for Denver County, a Weight Loss Consultant, a Health/Nutrition Educator (focusing on Cardiovascular health) and Biometric Screener in Corporate Wellness from 2014-2016. I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a variety of settings, patient populations, and specialties from 1996-2017. 

I love all the Colorado outdoorsy activities year-round, dancing, comedy shows, and concerts. Fun facts, I love to run long distances (26.2 miles and above), the longest to date is 34.35 miles. I am coming up on my third year of running (mostly outdoors) every single day.
