Our global economy can require skills such as learning a new language. The job tracking firm Burning Glass Technologies states the three best languages to learn are Portuguese, German, and Mandarin. Additionally, other languages in the top 7 are those we offer. Learn the pinyin phonetic system, basic vocabulary, expressions, sentence patterns and simple conversations.  Learn how to apply the pinyin knowledge to use a standard bilingual dictionary.  Explore the basic Chinese character writing system including strokes, stroke orders, and radicals. This class is a perfect follow up after taking Beginning or Intermediate Courses at ACC. It is an interactive class designed to reinforce what you have learned in previous Spanish courses at ACC. Read and discuss a series of fun, current events, newspaper articles, short stories and more. Engage in spontaneous conversation topics, cultural discussions, role-playing short dialogues, while learning new vocabulary, strengthening your conversational skills and practicing the use of the Spanish Language.
