Chancellors and presidents from colleges and universities across Colorado have released a joint statement through the Colorado Department of Higher Education about welcoming the ruling from the United States Supreme Court to uphold the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

“DACA students have always been positive contributors to the ACC community,” said ACC President Dr. Diana M. Doyle. “The decision today by the U.S. Supreme Court to preserve the DACA program will allow these students to continue to access and enjoy the opportunities to learn and grow as individuals, as well as acquire the skills for becoming successful professionals. The Supreme Court’s decision is a significant step forward to removing obstacles and open doors to success for the students. DACA students are welcomed and valued at ACC.”
