ACC Foundation Receives $225K from Reisher Scholars Program
The Arapahoe Community College (ACC) Foundation has received a $225,000 grant from the Reisher Scholars Program at The Denver Foundation as part of an initiative to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Reisher program.
The grant is part of a statewide investment by the Reisher Scholars Program recognizing colleges and universities committed to expanding access, opportunity, and success for Colorado students. ACC is among a group of current and future Reisher partner institutions across the state to receive anniversary funding.
The Reisher Scholars Program has supported Colorado students for 25 years through partnerships with colleges and universities across the state. Made possible by the Reisher Family Foundation, the program is administered by The Denver Foundation.
"The ACC Foundation would like to thank the Reisher Family Foundation, as well as The Denver Foundation, for this generous gift," stated Courtney Loehfelm, Associate Vice President of Institutional Advancement & Executive Director of the ACC Foundation. "At ACC, it is our goal to provide accessible, innovative education, and this grant will have a tremendous impact on our students and programs."
The ACC Foundation, which awarded over $1.7 million in student scholarships during the 2025-26 academic year, works to advance the mission of the College by providing financial assistance and opportunities to students, encouraging public support for the College, and strengthening the teaching, learning, and cultural environment of the College and our community. The ACC Foundation works to increase postsecondary credential attainment through financial assistance and wrap-around services to support students and to seek and develop innovative resources for the College and communities we serve.
"This investment celebrates 25 years of transformative partnerships and positions the Reisher Scholars Program for its next chapter of growth," said Javier Alberto Soto, President and CEO of The Denver Foundation. "By putting significant resources directly into the hands of institutions that share our commitment to student success, we are strengthening relationships statewide and opening doors for the next generation of Colorado scholars."
