Albrecht earns bronze medal at SkillsUSA national competition

LITTLETON, CO (July 17, 2017)

Philip AlbrechtArapahoe Community College student Philip Albrecht earned the bronze medal in the Automotive Service Technology contest (College Division) at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference on June 19-23 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Albrecht was tested in all eight areas of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), including: engine repair, automatic transmissions, manual transmissions and drivelines, steering and suspension, brakes, electrical, heating and air conditioning, and engine performance.
Albrecht is the second ACC Automotive Technology student in the past five years to earn the bronze medal at the national SkillsUSA competition. Auto Tech faculty Doc Viola and Jason Daves accompanied Albrecht to Louisville.
