To provide an opportunity for our students to interact with the police department that provides for their safety at the ACC, please join us for an open forum with Joseph Morris, ACC’s Chief of Police on Tuesday, March 9 at 4pm via Zoom.
Recent events in our nation and state have focused considerable attention to the practices of law enforcement, especially in the critical areas of arrests, use of force, and those factors associated with officer decision-making and discretion. Law enforcement leadership in many communities are responding to the public’s concerns regarding calls for justice system reforms, and these have become the drive for much-needed change in state and local governments.
It is a commitment of ACC’s Campus Police to respond to the public we serve professionally and with the appropriate response to the situations we are called to. It is our desire to provide as much information about our department, welcome your comments, and hear your concerns and recommendations to better serve the community.
This program is sponsored by ACC’s Student Government Association.
