Astronomy Star Parties

Date and Time:
- 10:00pm
Littleton Campus - West Lawn

UPDATE - FRIDAY, APRIL 4 (4:30 p.m.) - Due to overcast skies, tonight's Astronomy Star Party may be moved inside to Room M3740 (third floor in the main building).  Please check for signs at the West Entrance if you do not see Astronomy Professor Jennifer Jones and the ACC telescopes out on the West Lawn upon your arrival to campus.

The Arapahoe Community College Astronomy Program will host "star parties" to observe the night sky on Feb. 21, March 7 and April 4 at the Littleton Campus (outside on the West Lawn; between the main building and lot G).

All three star parties will be held in an open house format from 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. (please dress appropriately for these outdoor events), and attendees are welcome to arrive at their convenience.  ACC will provide a telescope at all three star parties, which are free and open to the public (no RSVP necessary).

Additionally, FREE hot cocoa and cookies will be served.

Join ACC Astronomy Professor Jennifer Jones at these star parties for your chance to observe the celestial bodies and explore the vastness of the universe.  For more information, please contact Jennifer at or 303.797.5839.
