Michael Palamara is the Director for the Art and Design Center at Arapahoe Community College. He obtained his BFA in Fine Art Photography from the University of Colorado Denver. After which, Michael "crossed the pond" to develop his practice and research at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, in London, where he earned his Master of Fine Arts degree. Upon returning to the States, Michael taught Art History and Photography for both Metropolitan State University of Denver and University of Colorado Denver. Alongside instructing, he spent considerable time working with faculty on how to effectively integrate digital media and technology into their pedagogy. Michael spent the last four years at Smith College leading a department focused on exploring interactive and immersive technology such as 3D scanning, photogrammetry, virtual and augmented reality. Michael now brings his leadership and expertise to ACC to help support, promote and inspire all programs within Art and Design.
