The ACC Library now has books to help you with your Service Learning assignments, reflections, or research! The eBook, Building Partnerships for Service-Learning, is available and can be searched via the catalog or accessed through the Library website. The hardcopy books, Service-Learning Essentials and Civic Engagement in Higher Education are ready to be checked out in the general stacks for a 3-week checkout period.

Campus Compact advances the public purpose of colleges and universities through improving community life and educating students for civic and social responsibility. Follow their website’s “Resources” link to over 300 syllabi with SL assignments.

Engaged Faculty Institute Curriculum

This handbook for faculty who want to develop their own SL assignments was developed by Community-Campus Partnership for Health (CCPH) in 2007 and redesigned by California Campus Compact and Campus Compact of the Mountain West in 2015 with CCPH.
