Lance Rubin

Dr. Rubin earned his Ph.D. in Literary Studies at the University of Denver and his M.A. in English at Northwestern University.  He has been teaching at ACC since 2000 and is currently the Chair of the Humanities Department.  He is the author of William Dean Howells and the American Memory Crisis (Cambria, 2008) and several essays on American literature and film, as well as co-editor of Reading Chuck Palahniuk: American Monsters and Literary Mayhem (Routledge, 2009). 

Dr. Rubin teaches a wide variety of Humanities and Literature classes at ACC, including American and World literature, Intro to Film, and The Cultural History of Rock and Roll.
