Dr. Donald Walker

I've been teaching history at ACC since 2006. I have a B.A. in Political Science from Indiana University, an M.A. in History from the University of Colorado-Denver, and a Ph.D. in History from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Academic Interests:
My academic specialty is diplomatic/military/international history. Currently, I serve as the department chair for Social Sciences (Anthropology, History, Political Science) and continue teaching a variety of history classes including Western Civilization, American History, and US Foreign Relations History.

Personal Interests:

Prior to my graduate studies, I was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in Armor and served on active duty as a tank and scout platoon leader with the Third Armored Cavalry Regiment.
