This path will allow you to get your general education courses completed before transferring while you choose your electives to focus in on classes that relate to health, wellness, fitness and more. Fall Start: Personal Trainer and Fitness Instruction Certificate
Begin in our Exercise Health Sciences program with a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instruction Certificate. You'll study exercise testing and prescription along with group fitness instruction that includes beat-driven classes along with non-beat, choreographed fitness classes.
This certificate is offered during Fall semesters and it is the perfect way to prepare for your ACSM Certified Personal Trainer exam. Join the 2017 Fall cohort by July 31. Apply today!
Spring Start: Health and Wellness Certificate
Starting in the spring of ready for more? Get your Health and Wellness Certificate. In this part of the program, you will focus on health and wellness coaching, the new and upcoming direction for the industry, helping people change their behaviors in order to achieve success concentrating on the psychology that underlies motivation and desire to change.
